Since coming through the ProGrad model, I’ve had the chance to grow my career quickly and make an impact at ProForce. Starting out with little experience, I was able to learn fast, build strong relationships, and contribute real results to the business within my first couple of years. During my time there, I hit targets, built client trust, and developed a reputation for being reliable and committed. Some of my proudest moments included placing hard-to-find candidates, building lasting client relationships, and generating repeat business for the team. These weren’t just quick wins - the relationships I built have continued to benefit ProForce even after I stepped away, which I think speaks to the long-term value of the work I did. I’ve also been recognised by both clients and candidates, with positive feedback and referrals that helped build my credibility. To this day, I’m still creating opportunities for ProForce through connections I made during my time there, and the fact that the team remains in touch with me is a reflection of the contribution I made. What mattered most to me wasn’t only hitting KPIs, but also being part of the wider team. I enjoyed collaborating across desks, sharing what worked for me, and supporting newer colleagues where I could. Those moments helped create a stronger and more connected team culture, which was just as rewarding as the placements themselves. Looking back, I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so early in my career. In less than three years, I’ve developed resilience, client management skills, and commercial awareness that will support me in whatever comes next. ProGrad gave me the platform to get started, and I believe I’ve shown that I’ve made the most of the opportunity. While I don’t expect to win the award, I see this nomination as recognition in itself. Being considered for Rising Star reflects the impact I’ve had so far, and I’m excited about where I can take these skills in the future.
