Module 8 - Managing & Developing People

The objective of Module 8: For new and aspiring managers to obtain fundamental management techniques which equip them with the skills to develop and retain tomorrow's top performers.

Who should attend: This 1 day workshop focuses on specific management skills required to manage the Millennial workforce who will make up 70% of employed people by 2025.

Agenda and Learning Outcomes:

  • Recruiting the right people in the first place
  • How to interview
  • On-boarding and inducting new starters
  • Having tough conversations
  • Succession planning and strategies for career opportunities

Training style: Classroom training with student participation. Video’s, role plays, pre and post course support including articles, clips of trainers and TED Talks increase student engagement and interaction.

Action Plans: At the end of each course every participant is asked to complete an action plan, providing an opportunity for meaningful follow-up and performance improvement.

Feedback Forms: Students complete feedback forms at the end of the training. Associate Trainers are available for one-on-one phone calls with the students’ manager to discuss feedback from the session, and how ProForce can assist with further learning.
